Hall County Elections officials are notifying voters that four polling locations will be temporarily relocated for the June 16 runoff election due to scheduling conflicts and construction projects.

According to Hall County Elections Manager Paige Thompson, the affected locations, Flat Creek Baptist Church, Flowery Branch Elementary School, Hopewell Baptist Church and Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, will not be available on Election Day.

“Due to previously scheduled Vacation Bible School activities and ongoing construction, these four locations cannot be used for the June 16 runoff election,” Thompson said. “We encourage voters to plan ahead to ensure they report to the correct polling location on Election Day.”

The following temporary polling location changes will be in effect for the June 16 runoff election only:

  • Flat Creek Baptist Church (5504 Flat Creek Road, Gainesville) will be relocated to Flat Creek Baptist Church Annex (3780 Old Oakwood Road, Oakwood).
  • Flowery Branch Elementary School (5544 Radford Road, Flowery Branch) will be relocated to West Hall Middle School (5470 McEver Road, Oakwood).
  • Hopewell Baptist Church (5086 Poplar Springs Road, Gainesville) will be relocated to Redwine Methodist Church (3285 Poplar Springs Road, Gainesville).
  • Pleasant Hill Baptist Church (3650 Browns Bridge Road, Gainesville) will be relocated to Free Chapel (3001 McEver Road, Gainesville).

Election officials emphasized that these changes apply only to the June 16 runoff election. All other voting dates and times at the original polling locations will remain unchanged.

Voters are encouraged to verify their registration status, polling location, voter registration card information, elected representatives and sample ballot through Georgia’s My Voter Page.
