Georgia voters selected the Republican and Democratic nominees for secretary of state in Tuesday's runoff elections.
In the Republican runoff, Tim Fleming defeated Vernon Jones to secure the party's nomination.
According to unofficial results, Fleming currently has 141,664 votes, or 65.81%, while Jones has 73,600 votes, or 34.19%.
In the Democratic runoff, Penny Brown Reynolds defeated Dana Barrett to win the party's nomination.
Unofficial results showed Reynolds receiving 141,857 votes, or 64%, compared with 78,375 votes, or 35% for Barrett.
The winners advance to the November general election, where voters will choose Georgia's next secretary of state.
