Former Flowery Branch City Council Member Joe Anglin has marginally beat Susan Aycock Smith in the Hall County Board of Education At-Large Republican runoff.
With all precincts reporting, Anglin had just over 50.87% of the vote. Susan Smith received 49.13% of the vote.
Anglin will now move on to face Democrat Susan Taylor for the seat in the November 2026 General Election.
