The Lawrenceville Police Department has established a memorial in honor of officer Travis Clarke, who was killed in an off-duty crash last week.
The memorial is located in the lobby of the department and will be available for public viewing during normal business hours.
The agency invites community members, family, friends to visit the memorial and pay their respects.
"During this difficult time, we continue to keep Travis's family, friends, and fellow officers in our thoughts and prayers," Lawrenceville Police Department said in a Facebook post. "The outpouring of love and support from our community has been a source of strength, and we are grateful for every kind word, prayer, and gesture. Though his watch has ended, Officer Clarke's impact on our department and our community will never be forgotten."

According to the Gwinnett Police Department, a truck was turning left from Old Peachtree Road onto Swing Circle in Gwinnett County. At the same time, a motorcycle driven by Clarke was going straight on Old Peachtree Road and hit the passenger side of the truck.
