Three men are behind bars after an alleged armed robbery at a Banks County convenience store earlier this week.
The Banks County Sheriff's Office issued a statement Friday afternoon, saying the alleged robbery happened on Wednesday, June 10, at Homertown Grocery on Ga. 51 at Sycamore Street in Homer.
"Upon arrival, deputies determined that the suspects had fled the scene before law enforcement arrived," the sheriff's office said.
The suspects in the case were identified as:
- Quinton Xavier Burden, age 53
- Patrick O'Neil Drayton, age 41
- Nazzaar Parker, age 36
The next day, Thursday, June 11, Banks County deputies worked with several agencies, including the Hall County Sheriff's Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, to arrest the three at a location in Hall County.
As of Friday afternoon, the three remained in the Banks County Jail on armed robbery charges. No other details on the alleged robbery have been released.
