Georgia voters selected the Republican nominee for State Senate District 51 in Tuesday's runoff election.
Will Wade defeated Phillip Milam to win the Republican nomination.
According to unofficial results, Wade received 16,700 votes, or 61.61%, while Milam received 10,405 votes, or 38.39%.
The winner of the runoff advances to the November general election.
