WALNUT GROVE, Ga. — The Jefferson girls did not need penalty kicks on Tuesday.

The Lady Dragons got a stellar defensive effort in taking a 5-0 win over Walnut Grove on Tuesday on the road.

Samme Suppes led the offensive attack with two goals. Arielle Vermillion, Liv Siebels, and Claire Gilstrap each scored one goal for Jefferson.

Jefferson led 2-0 at the half.

The 2025 Class 3A state runners-up will be off until traveling to Class 6A  Meadowcreek next Tuesday.
