A Dawsonville motorcyclist was killed following a two-vehicle crash in Dawson County Saturday, June 13.

The Georgia State Patrol reported that troopers were called to the scene on Lee Castleberry Road at Foxgrove Drive at 9:30 p.m.

An initial investigation determined a white Honda Civic was turning left from Lee Castleberry Road eastbound onto Foxgrove Drive.

At the same time, a Kawasaki EX500 motorcycle was westbound on Lee Castleberry Road. The front of the Kawasaki reportedly struck the passenger’s side of the Honda.

The driver of the Kawasaki, Leonard Cantrell, 30, of Dawsonville, was pronounced deceased on scene.

The crash remains under investigation as of last report.
