A Flowery Branch man remains in Hall County Jail without bond after he was arrested on methamphetamine trafficking charges on Wednesday, June 3.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office said investigators were made aware of possible drug activity at a location on Williams Road in the city on May 11.
Investigators then determined the suspect Sean Chandler Colee, 58, had been living in a camper at the location.
During the course of their investigation, the agents reportedly developed probable cause for a search of the camper and a shop located on the property. After obtaining a search warrant, investigators, along with Warrant Service Unit deputies and a K9 team, conducted a search of the camper and the shop on May 28.
During that search, investigators allegedly located and seized a clear plastic bag that contained a white powdery substance, later determined to be methamphetamine. Authorities reportedly found 29 grams of the substance with an estimated street value of $2,900.
Colee was not home at the time of the search, HCSO said.
Investigators obtained an arrest warrant for Colee for felony trafficking of methamphetamine.
Warrant Service Unit deputies returned to the Williams Road property on June 3 and located Colee. He was taken into custody without incident.
